Kick off your old hobbies

Kick off your old hobbies

Have you ever reflected on the hobby that you had in past and which doesn’t exist now?
If not then please do it now. As we grow old our interests change with the age. I think sometimes changes are not so good. For example, a child likes dancing, playing, singing and other such fun activities. His interests gradually change; going to school, learning different subjects etc perhaps he finds that he likes drawing and literature. When he accompanies his friends in sports, he observes his talent is in a particular game. His search of interests goes on and on. This change of interest might be fair but change of one’s own passion is unfair. In my view a hobby practiced regularly and sincerely makes passion.
Indeed the above example can be applied to most people’s lives. Because an individual is not practicing her most passionate interest, her soul is consistently looking for what she loves doing. I agree, not each one of us is fortunate enough to choose a career as per his or her hobby. However one should try and maintain one’s hobby. To keep your hobbies honed you need to give some time to it. If not everyday then on weekends; if not in crucial working hours then in free hours.  By spending a little time on hobbies you can experience enormous joy and mastery in your desired field as a reward.
In my childhood I was good at drawing and I loved drawing human portraits. Although I did not choose a career in arts this hasn’t stopped me from drawing. Of course I come from the same ground and for years I took a break in it. It is just before two years I started again with my drawing. I have never taken any course on it, but now I practice it regularly and this acuminates my drawing skill. When I complete my sketch, it might not be very artistic but I feel like an artist after doing even little of drawing. This content feeling comes with every hobby.
          Some of my sketches

Apart from satisfaction and happiness hobbies also give us various lessons which enhance our other skills as well. Through sketching I learnt the effects of microscopic changes that can make a drawing better or worse. Gradually I grasped that this perfection is applicable for cooking, writing or in any other field I pursue. Here I would like to include the quote of Dr. Alvaro Pascual-Leone, a professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School: ‘’It may well be a mistake to do just one thing. If you practice multiple things you actually get better at any one of those things.’’
Find out your old hobby or interest, any activity that gave you joy and thrill. Its memories excite you and make you feel proud. And whenever you think about it, your inner voice calls out, why you have stopped doing it? Remember, it is never too late to chase your interest. Make a fresh start for practicing your fancies. Each small step brings success. Don’t wait for leisure time to perform hobbies, but take out sometime from your tight schedule to make it your leisure time and have fun.

Entertaining skills on the street

The art or skill in any form has magical power which attracts every soul as per their interests. Street performances are eye catching for every common man as there is no ticket or entry fee charged; it is presented before the public. It appeals to all individuals no matter of what age group or from what profession they are; it awakes interests to those who are unaware of their passion.

As  a picture is worth a thousand words, the above picture tells us the proficiency and travail of the street performers. This act is performed in the avenue of Stockholm, outside one of the shopping cent rum, by a young boy. He first shows the dance performance by a mannequin couple and then presents his juggling skills with fire torches. When both skills are seen together as the mannequin couple is fixed on his back it makes the performance eventful. The crowd,  interested to see his throughout play, is unable to focus on one act. Such versatile performers inflame the interest of their skill to others and we feel happy to gift them some reward for their invaluable skills.

The place or the type of skill does not matter, what matters is idealism and the aptitude of a performer and these rest in every real artist. In a nutshell street performances are not only a mode of entertainment and earning but also of initiating interest for new and various skills among everyone.

Glimpse of stockholm

Life in the beautiful city Stockholm is peaceful as well as happening. It has been nine months residing here yet the blissful environment of this place rebuffs my home sickness. Being the capital city it is also the most populous city of Sweden. Swedish People are very sweet, helpful, sports loving, artistic and consummate. The chilly season which covers most part of the year is a great fun in itself. The Stockholm archipelago is the largest in Sweden and second largest in the Baltic Sea. It makes the city more wonderful and frames a special artistry to the whole town. So, are you ready to have the narrative view of this classy town?

Art loving people are definitely going to find this place inspiring and conducive. The abounding attractive museums based on art, history, science and technology and people enhances the grandeur to the town. The islands and parks in and around the city flesh out the rejuvenating atmosphere here. As someone truly said, ‘The human spirit needs place where nature has not been rearranged by the hand of man’. Gamlastan, the old town of Stockholm is imperial and most cherished place of mine.  The medieval alleyways, monarchical buildings, royal palace, beautiful bridge and the fascinating sculptures reveal the history of the old town.

The dignified society reflects their culture. People here are wealthy and they have time to devote to their hobbies which is really good and a blessing they are creative interested in art, music, gardening, etc.  The dedication towards any job they pursue is appreciating and fair. Interest in sports, running and keeping their body toned is common in Swedish people. But the addiction and excessive consumption of alcohol and tobacco is what I dislike about them.

The atmosphere here is cool throughout the year I loved the chilly snow fall in winters. It is pleasant and lovely place on earthhttps://writersabroad.submittable.com/submitHi! A Happening Day In a Beach

A Happening Sunny Day

It’s time to freak out with family or friends. The scorching weather impels me to dip in the cool, blue water. The dip which makes me relaxed, relieving all my worries and endowing new zest to my life. The embrace of the water which bestows a dainty jerk first and later pleases me. My husband with whom I have come at a captivating beach, to spend holiday takes me to deeper water and hugs me. Wow! A blissful moment, I felt loved and realized ‘If you smile, life smiles back at you’
The munching of snacks with a toast to acclaim a bright sunny day at beautiful beach is more amusing. The tranquilizing sound of the waves as if they are revealing the secrets of nature. The horizon which seems to be touching the sea initiates to ponder on artistry of nature. A walk on the shore, giggling and sharing thoughts with soul mate, observing people swimming among them, I see a father stimulating his cute little son to swim. This is a wonderful view, he dips him in then takes out, again dips in and takes out and then the little boy runs towards his mother as he is scared of water. But I think this is best age for him to learn being innocent and fearless.
How can a holiday be over without games? Games are fun in itself and during holidays they turn out to be more adventures. I enjoy frisky games which give a good exercise to my butt rather than board games. Hence, we joined a strangers group playing volleyball. Ah! Playing this game after a couple of years is more fun. The Sun wills to set assuring to rise next day and we wave goodbye with a dream to come again.
